As a lifelong cyclist and outdoor enthusiast, Dan co-founded Hill Ready with one mission: to make it easier for people to get outside. Before turning his focus to bike racks, he helped Fortune 500 companies streamline operations, enhance predictive models, and guide new product launches as a corporate strategy consultant. Earlier in his career, Dan played a key role in NASA’s Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN) mission, where his work as an aerospace engineer ensured years of successful satellite operations and performance improvements. Dan channels his technical expertise and business acumen into Hill Ready, helping to build a company that reflects his passion for the outdoors and his uncompromising standards for quality gear.
Matt Gaide

Matt is a tinker and avid mountain biker, driven to understand how things work—and to fix them when they don’t. A mechanical engineer with over a decade of experience in manufacturing, he’s done it all: turning wrenches on the shop floor, running complex design simulations, and managing major capital projects. He has helped develop equipment with a focus on operator experience, production efficiency, and safety. At Hill Ready, Matt brings that blend of hands-on know-how, technical expertise, and attention to detail to every product, ensuring the gear he helps create is robust, reliable, and adventure-ready.
